  • Nathalie Petersen

    Nathalie Petersen DVM

    Nathalie Petersen DVM, grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. After finishing high school she attended Michigan State University, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Environmental Biology and Zoology. She then spent one year in Orange County, attending Chapman University.  Dr. Petersen moved back to Louisiana where she went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University. After graduation in 2011, she practiced for 2 years in Baton Rouge. Anxious to return to California, Dr. Petersen moved to Temecula in 2013. Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, and ultrasonography.

    In her spare time Dr. Petersen enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and their dog Maverick, cooking, cross-fitness, reading, snowboarding, traveling, and enjoying her new home.

  • Thomas Worfel

    Thomas Worfel, DVM

    Dr. Worfel originally hails from Michigan where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University. He moved to California seven years later and settled in Escondido where he and his wife, Roxanne owned and operated Walker Veterinary Hospital for eighteen years.

     

    He presently lives there with Roxanne, their two dogs, Ivy and Rickie, their two cats, Dharma and Phoebe and seven Koi fish.

     

    Dr. Worfel has worked in the Temecula Valley area for the last twenty years and has previously practiced at Valley Veterinary Clinic for eighteen of those years. His primary interests are in surgery, both soft tissue and orthopedic and he regularly attends continuing education classes to update those areas of interest.

     

    During his free time he enjoys bicycling and bowling, and in the winter skiing is the preferred distraction.

  • Dayle Siegel

    Dayle Siegel DVM

    Dr. Dayle Siegel began to pursue her lifelong dream of helping animals by earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Illinois. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Siegel is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the California Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional interests include internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry, and integrative medicine.   When not caring for your pets Dr. Siegel enjoys spending as much time as possible with her two daughters. She also enjoys a good book, playing the piano and bassoon, and hanging out with her cats and dogs

  • Ed Shin

    Ed Shin DVM

    Ed Shin DVM received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the School of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis. Upon graduating, he completed his internship in internal medicine, surgery, and emergency care. After completing his internship Dr. Shin started working at Norco Animal Hospital in February 2007. Dr. Shin then joined the Lake Elsinore Animal Hospital family in January of 2011, Animal Medical Hospital of Pasadena in 2013, and Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2014.

    He enjoys working with many breeds of dogs and cats. Dr. Shin has a special interest in emergency care, endocrinology, and preventive medicine. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking, reading, and spending time with his dog.

  • Guy Tarvin

    Guy Tarvin DVM ACVS

    Guy Tarvin DVM ACVS is a graduate of Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. After obtaining his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Dr. Tarvin went to the Animal Medical Center in New York for internship and residency training. After completion of his residency Dr. Tarvin became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and moved to Illinois to become an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois’ College of Veterinary Medicine. In 1984 he and his new family moved to California where he started Veterinary Surgical Specialists, providing the first referral surgical practice for animals in San Diego County.

    Dr. Tarvin specializes in the management and repair of hip and pelvic injuries, knee injuries, arthroscopy and reconstructive joint surgery. He is also certified in stem cell collection for treatment of various orthopedic conditions.
