Dr. Gary White's Bio
Graduated from high school in rural Southern Colorado, and went on to graduate from Brigham Young University with both Bachelors and Masters Degrees with an emphasis in Reproductive Physiology. He subsequently graduated from Colorado State University with his DVM Degree.
After graduating, he and his family moved to the Temecula Valley of Southern California in 1991 where be began practice with fellow CSU graduate, Harold S. Tice. He ultimately bought Valley Veterinary Clinic from Dr. Tice in 1996, where he continues to practice at the present time. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, doing genealogy, and he combines these two events by making movies for and about various family members. He also enjoys virtually all things with a BYU connection, as well as The Denver Broncos. He is active in his Church, and, as an Eagle Scout, participates in one of the local B.S.A. units in the Tahquitz District. |
Dr. Thomas Worfel's Bio
After attending high school and college in Michigan, and having practiced in Michigan for six years, moved to California where he and his wife managed a veterinary practice in Escondido for eighteen years. He joined Dr. White at Valley Veterinary Clinic in 1997. His areas of special interest include soft tissue surgery, and orthopedics. He annually attends in-depth educational courses for the development the latest surgical techniques. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Rancho Costal Humane Society in Encinitas California. An avid bicyclist, he also enjoys skiing during the winter months when vacationing. He and his wife now live in Escondido with their two dogs Ricky and Ivy and their three cats, Robin, Dharma and Phoebe. |

Dr. Keri Elliott's Bio
Earned her undergraduate degree from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas. She graduated May 2007 with a DVM degree from Western University of Health Sciences as a member of the charter class of the College of Veterinary Medicine. Her medical interests include internal medicine, dermatology, ultrasound, and general surgery; while recreational interests include running, working with children, and swimming. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and two energetic children. She and her family are actively serving at their church. They share their home with their three dogs and three cats. |
Laura Laxineta's Bio
Received her B.S. in Biology from U.C. Davis in 1977 and graduated from U. C Davis veterinary school in 1983. She is married to Marc, an equine veterinarian. They have lived in the Temecula Valley since 1985, where they have raised their 3 children, who are all away at college. Her hobbies are scuba diving, gardening, and volunteer puppy raising for Canine Companions for Independence. She has a special interest in emergency medicine. |
